As the seasons shift, we often feel it in our bodies and minds—sluggish energy, congestion, heaviness, or mental fog. In Ayurveda, this is the accumulation of kapha dosha (the energy of earth and water), and spring is the perfect time to gently cleanse and reset. This spring, we’re offering a guided Spring Cleanse Series designed to support you in learning everything you need to complete a 3–5 day at-home cleanse, safely and sustainably. This series builds on our gentle yoga and meditation offerings and weaves in Ayurvedic wisdom, daily rituals, and practical tools you can carry with you long after the cleanse is over. What’s Included: Wednesday, April 8 | Gentle Yoga for Spring Renewal A donation-based class A special gentle yoga practice emphasizing movement, breath, and chest-opening postures to help clear stagnation, support the lungs, and awaken energy after winter. at Shoals Bodywork Saturday, April 11 | Ayurvedic Cooking Workshop 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM Learn how to prepare simple, nourishing cleanse staples including: • Kitchari • Ghee • Spring digestive teas • Bitter & astringent vegetables We’ll discuss kapha-pacifying foods, the benefits of a mono-diet, and how to support digestion during a cleanse. at Private home (address shared after registration) Sunday, April 12 | Dinacharya: Daily Rituals for Cleansing 2:00 – 4:00 PM Explore traditional Ayurvedic self-care practices to support detoxification and daily balance, including: • Tongue scraping • Neti pot • Dry brushing • Abhyanga (self-oil massage) We’ll also discuss ama (toxins), digestive fire, and supportive herbs such as Triphala. at Shoals Bodywork Monday, April 13 | Spring Meditation & Mental Cleansing 10:00 AM A donation-based class A guided meditation featuring trataka (candle gazing) to balance kapha, clear mental heaviness, support eye health, and cultivate clarity and focus. at Shoals Bodywork Pricing Options • Full Spring Cleanse Series (all 4 sessions): $100 • Saturday Cooking Workshop only: $45 • Sunday Dinacharya Workshop only: $35 • Wednesday Gentle Yoga & Monday Meditation: Donation-based Space is limited to 9 participants to keep the experience intimate and supportive.
